Role Overview
As a Junior RTB Integration Engineer / Junior Java Developer, you will work within our Integration Engineering Team, ensuring seamless collaboration between our systems and partners across the ad tech ecosystem. You will help design, build, and maintain programmatic integrations that enable billions of real-time advertising transactions daily. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills while engaging with large-scale systems and the AdTech industry.
Key Responsibilities
- OpenRTB Integrations: Develop, analyze, and test OpenRTB integrations with supply partners.
- Integration Development: Scope, design, integrate, upgrade, and maintain stable and scalable integrations both locally and platform-wide.
- Partner Communication: Manage technical communication and the integration process with external partners.
- Integration Health: Ensure the ongoing health and stability of integrations.
- Automation Tools: Develop and improve automation tools to maintain integration quality.
- Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a knowledge evangelist and share your expertise with the team.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex integration-related issues, including networking, volume, and code bugs.
Desired Experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java (JDK-22), Maven, SQL (GBQ), and optionally Python.
- Customer-Facing Experience: Experience in a customer-facing engineering role, technical services, or sales engineering.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Educational Background: Degree or equivalent practical experience in analytics, mathematics, or a quantitative field.
- Learning Ability: Ability to quickly learn and thrive in ambiguous situations.
- English Proficiency: Sufficient English skills to understand technical documentation and code.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- OpenRTB Knowledge: Experience with OpenRTB protocols and RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Familiarity with GIT or similar tools.
- Rust Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Rust.
- Command-Line Experience: Experience using Linux/command line tools.
- Unit Testing: Familiarity with unit testing methodologies.
