Role Overview

AXS is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer II to contribute to the development efforts of our E-commerce software engineering team. You will work on various AXS products and technologies, playing a key role in both new feature development and the maintenance of existing systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team to develop complex projects across various AXS products.
  • Provide technical and design guidance to the development team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Draft RFCs (Request for Comments) to present technical approaches for complex feature implementations.
  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver accurate project estimates and manage delivery risks.
  • Prepare for and support weekly production releases, ensuring familiarity with AXS’s Change Management and Incident Management processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues during incidents.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on career development and technical training.
  • Conduct code reviews, address security vulnerabilities, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Handle special client requests and resolve support issues in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Significant hands-on coding experience in .NET/NodeJS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, CSS, HTML, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and AWS.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, caching, sockets, and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Sumologic).
  • Strong understanding of database design, programming languages, and technical integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence change.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring development teams.

Salary

Pay Range: $133,309 – $150,000

Interview Process

  1. Stage 1: 45-minute virtual interview with the Hiring Manager
  2. Stage 2: Three 60-minute virtual technical interviews
  3. Stage 3: 30-minute virtual Executive Interview
