Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Staff Engineer to join our QA engineering team. This role focuses on full-stack development of tools and infrastructure. Ideal candidates will bring a wealth of ideas and energy to the team, with a passion for implementing cutting-edge tools and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of software systems to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to enforce coding standards and best practices, while contributing to the overall improvement of code quality.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Tackle complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions, contributing to the team’s technical direction.
• Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and helping them develop their technical skills.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical decisions.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, ensuring it accurately reflects system changes and configurations.
• Technical Debt Management: Identify and address technical debt, ensuring the codebase remains maintainable and scalable.
• Staying Up to Date: Keep the team informed about the latest technologies and trends, ensuring the use of the most effective tools and techniques.
• Networking: Build and maintain professional relationships with engineers and stakeholders across the company.
• Global Team Collaboration: Work effectively with global teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Team Culture Contribution: Foster a positive and productive team culture.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Leverage advanced debugging skills to identify and resolve complex software and system issues.
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Analyze system data to understand behavior, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
• User Experience Enhancement: Contribute to designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces to improve the overall user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in full-stack development, with a focus on tools and infrastructure.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, Streamlit, Plotly, Open APIs, Django, Flask, Vue.JS.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Experience with virtualization, Docker, and cloud environments.
