About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Golang Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and backend applications. This role requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures. If you have a passion for building high-performance systems and working in a collaborative, Agile environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain microservices and backend applications using Golang.
- Design and implement scalable APIs and backend systems.
- Work with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security.
- Collaborate with DevOps, frontend engineers, and product managers.
- Follow best practices in coding, testing, and security.
What You Need to Succeed
✅ 7+ years of experience in Golang development with a focus on backend systems.
✅ Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
✅ Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Helm charts, and Terraform.
✅ Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and gRPC.
✅ Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
✅ Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
✅ Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).
✅ Awareness of security best practices in cloud applications.
Preferred Qualifications
✔️ Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Fargate).
✔️ Knowledge of Istio, Linkerd, or service mesh architectures.
✔️ Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
✔️ Contributions to open-source projects or Golang communities.
💰 Compensation: $65 – $68 per hour
