Position: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Bengaluru, IN (Hybrid, Full-Time)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Node.js and Python.
  • Mentor software engineers, serving as the go-to expert for the product.
  • Collaborate with product owners to break down user stories for efficient estimation and delivery.
  • Develop robust, secure APIs for data access and manipulation.
  • Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases, utilizing your SQL expertise.
  • Contribute to scripting and data analysis tasks with Python.
  • Integrate backend functionalities with React.js applications.
  • Deploy and manage applications using AWS services.
  • Implement Docker containers for application deployment.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through unit testing.
  • Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to code reviews and design reviews.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles.
  • Expertise in Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, and React.js.
  • Strong Python knowledge for scripting and data analysis tasks.
  • Proficient in SQL query language and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
  • Proficient in Docker for containerization and unit testing with frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
  • Solid experience in backend and frontend development.
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies is an advantage.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
