About the Role

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Data, Data Indexing team. In this role, you will develop and enhance the core indexing platform that underpins Google’s vast information processing capabilities. As a part of the Core Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of Google’s flagship products.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Develop and enhance distributed processing systems for large-scale data indexing.
✔️ Design, implement, and optimize high-performance computing solutions.
✔️ Collaborate across teams to create robust technical solutions for data storage and retrieval.
✔️ Solve complex, ambiguous problems in system design and information retrieval.
✔️ Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of Google’s indexing infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
💻 Experience: 5+ years working with general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to:

• Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go.
  📈 4+ years of experience in Distributed Processing, System Design, and High-Performance Computing.

Preferred Qualifications

🔹 Experience in building and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
🔹 Strong ability to design and independently execute complex projects.
🔹 Passion for solving ambiguous and technically challenging problems.
